How Tele-Optometry Works

Book Your Appointment
Schedule your eye appointment with Jaya Vision and provide basic demographic information.
Fill Out Paperwork
Complete necessary consent forms and medical intake questionnaires upon arrival.
Diagnostic Testing
Undergo diagnostic tests including auto-refraction, eye pressure check, digital reading of your current glasses prescription and Optomap wide field retinal imaging.
Pre-Testing
Move to the exam room for initial tests performed by a trained technician, including visual acuity, pupils, motility, confrontational visual fields, color vision, stereopsis, digital slit lamp imaging/video & contact lens video (if applicable)
Consult with Doctor
Enter a live HIPAA compliant video consultation with a board-certified Optometrist who will check your glasses/contacts prescriptions and review your medical history and ocular health results.
Glasses/Contacts Prescription
Take your prescription for glasses and/or contact lenses to Costco Optical to order!
