Our Team

Dr. Jayasimha is a board-certified optometrist who graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry. She then went on to complete a highly coveted ocular disease residency program at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which has been consistently ranked the #1 eye hospital in the country. Dr. Jayasimha is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Her extensive clinical knowledge paired with her passion to deliver expert, modern and state-of-the-art vision assessments is what allows her to provide unparalleled eye care services to all of her patients. 

Dr. Aliza Loshinsky is a dedicated optometrist specializing in primary care and pediatrics, delivering personalized eye care services to patients of all ages. With a focus on comprehensive care, she provides ocular wellness exams, contact lens fittings, and management of various ocular conditions. Dr. Loshinsky's compassionate approach and patient demeanor ensure that her patients feel at ease, receiving quality care in a warm and welcoming environment. Dr. Loshinsky earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry.

Stephen Thompson, OD is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing personalized, high-quality eye care. He specializes in comprehensive eye exams, advanced ocular disease management, and helping patients achieve clear, comfortable vision at every stage of life. Known for his approachable manner and attention to detail, Dr. Thompson builds lasting relationships through compassionate, professional care.

Dr. Thompson earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, completing ocular disease externships at Sinai Hospital in Detroit and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. He has served on his state Board of Optometry and currently works with a national council reviewing and validating continuing education programs for optometrists.

Outside of practice, Dr. Thompson and his wife—proud empty nesters—enjoy traveling, wine tasting, and visiting their children away at college.

Amanda Perez Viamonte earned her undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from Miami Dade College, followed by a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University. She later obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University. With a strong academic foundation in biomedical sciences and vision care, Dr. Perez Viamonte is committed to providing professional, patient-centered eye care with an emphasis on personalized service, clinical excellence, and attention to detail. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to provide accessible and personalized care to a diverse patient population. Her approach combines compassion, professionalism, and a dedication to helping patients achieve clear and comfortable vision.

Born and raised in California, Dr. Elise Nguyen has been involved in patient care since her undergraduate years. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS in Worcester, Massachusetts, and completed clinical rotations across Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Dr. Nguyen is currently completing a highly competitive Ocular Disease residency through the Indian Health Service.

Dr. Alyssa Gard is a dedicated optometrist specializing in primary care, ocular disease, advanced eyeglass prescriptions, soft contact lens fittings and dry eye. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from James Madison University in 2016 and her Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in 2020.

While in optometry school, she completed rotations through Boston Children’s Hospital (Honors), Massachusetts General Hospital (Honors), and Omni Eye Services of Atlanta (Honors). During her time at Omni, she was awarded the William C. Barrett Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Clinical Performance.
